Serving the community as a police officer is one of the most challenging and rewarding careers available. It is a demanding profession that requires integrity, intelligence, and courage. Police officers make a difference in someone’s life every day.
The Bureau of Labor and Statistics reports that police officer jobs are expected to grow 11% from 2006 – 2016. The median salary for a police officer is $47,460 and the highest paid 10% of police officers earn over $72,450 annually. During the past five years 100% of our students passed the MCOLES licensure examination.
